‘I need to maintain my performance levels high for many seasons. I hope I can do that. They are great players and hopefully I become happy with these comparisons.’ Salah struggled in his first stint in the Premier League at Chelsea but has proved his doubters spectacularly wrong this season. He will now hope to secure Liverpool’s top-four finish against Brighton on Sunday, before helping Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
