Super Eagles’ defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has reacted to Nigeria’s 2-1 lost to England in a pre-World Cup friendly game played at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.

Ebuehi admitted that Gernot Rohr’s side had a difficult first half against the Three Lions, but gave their best in the second half.

The Benfica star made his sixth appearance for Nigeria after replacing Abdullahi Shehu at half-time.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Ebuehi said: ”I think we had it hard in the first half but I think in the second half we did very very well, and personally I just did what I can and it went well personally.

”There was also some small mistakes but I did a good job.”

Ebuehi added, ”To be honest for me it doesn’t matter. I like both of the roles

”Today was a great atmosphere, great stadium also, of course it helps us a lot because the World Cup is the biggest stage and everybody is watching. Today a lot of people watched the game.
